Yesterday’s post was unexpectedly heavy, so I thought I’d balance things out with a lighter post today. This afternoon we took our foster daughter to the Violet Crown Festival in Austin. The main reason we went was to visit the petting zoo put on by The Stuffed Animal Rescue Foundation (The S.A.R.F.).
All of the stuffed animals on display were up for adoption, but our foster daughter is a bit too young to apply for one just yet. I’m not kidding. Just check out the application you have to fill out to even be considered for an adoption!
By the time we arrived, many of the animals had already been matched with forever families. The ones I got pictures of were still in need of good homes. Be sure to read the descriptions for each animal. They each have their own story to tell.
